In recognition of September 9th as National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders(FASD) Day, SLO-CAP will highlight the clinical team from Martha’s Place.
Only recognized by professionals in the last 30 years, FASDs are difficult to diagnose, persist in families for generations, and without identification and treatment almost inevitably result in broken lives. Members of Martha’s Place clinical staff will talk about innovative interventions and approaches used to address the complications associated with FASD which includes multi-generational family dysfunction, attachment disorders and parenting skills.
